Gonçalo Campos graduated in Product Design in 2008 and then collaborated with Fabrica (Benetton’s research and communication center), where he had the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as the Secondo Me, Seletti or Zanotta gallery.
In 2009 he joined Sam Baron’s atelier and in 2010 he began to develop product series, continuing to explore the possibilities of design through function and materials, collaborating with brands such as Munna, WEWOOD, Piodão Group, Mantecas and Vista Alegre.
Gonçalo Campos finds simple and unexpected solutions, even using common materials and methods of production, in a process that starts from the object and its production. This results in ‘smart’ objects, often with some humor, fruit of imagination and curiosity about the world around him. These are products designed between technical knowledge and solid practical and aesthetic values, in a search for truly distinct creations.
